OpenLaszlo – Re: Setting an resource to value of datapath

Filed under: Uncategorized — michaelangela @ 6:47 am

So on a different topic, taking a look at OpenLaszlo. Why? Flex2sdk, as cool as it is, and it is cool, it only targets Flash 9. I need to target Flash 8. So, just taking a look. One issue that has to be solved is loading data from remote sources and this hits that issue.

In the demos/amazon app, there is an example of this, a view which shows
an image of a CD album cover, from an Amazon search. It sets its datapath
to the desired xpath, and then constrains the “source” attribute to the data value.

The line

does that.

if (dragsmall.droppedInView(cart.parent)) {
} else if (dragsmall.droppedInView(wish.parent)) {
