Yeah, next time… actually the current project, if some of these other “round trip” concepts can work out, maybe it can be used when it comes time to refactor… there is plenty to organize for it.

With something like this… time to look into the roundtrip possibilities. Choose a tool to create UML that saves it as XMI, use this to make the AS2.0 code, modify, convert back to XMI/UML, modify, check, etc… something like that I think. πŸ™‚

These are definitely very cool posters and yeah they are huge. Nice to know some of the background behind it. I don’t think I make use of their UML modeling tool though… need an opensource one for now. πŸ™‚

I helped put together the posters, or at least the UML content that went into them. Rick Santos was the designer who turned the crazy web of boxes and lines into something cool.

UML and actionscript. There is a community version of this tool to help generate code based on UML diagrams. Still looking into it. There is also code, yet to be checked out, that would help take the stuff already written and creating UML codes from that. More to come on that…
